YOUR INFORMATION
PRIVACY POLICY
Updated October 26, 2026
This notice explains how Fall Claim Lawyers uses information through this website and its legal connection service. We help people inquire about connecting with an independent attorney; we are not a law firm. For privacy requests, email contact@fallclaimlawyers.com.
The key points
- You can browse and request a case review without accepting optional cookies.
- Your inquiry is sent through FormSubmit and email and may be shared with an independent attorney with your permission.
- No analytics, advertising pixels, session replay, or automated ad-matching tools are currently installed.
- Cookie choices and permission to be contacted about your inquiry are separate.
1. Information we receive
Information you provide: the case-review form asks for your name, email address, phone number, borough, fall location category, approximate timing, whether you were injured or received medical care, and an optional description. Correspondence may include additional details you choose to share. Injury information can be sensitive; provide only the brief information needed for an initial inquiry. Do not send Social Security numbers, financial account numbers, detailed medical records, or confidential documents.
Settlement calculator: you may enter an injury category, treatment status, fall location and timing, medical costs, estimated future treatment costs, lost income, other injury-related costs, and hypothetical scenario assumptions. Calculations happen in the page in your browser; these answers and results are not sent to us or FormSubmit merely by calculating or viewing a result. They are not saved in local storage or placed in the URL. Reloading or leaving the page may clear them. If you request a case review, your calculator answers, costs, assumptions, result, and the contact details you provide are sent together through FormSubmit and may be shared with an independent attorney with your permission. The calculator uses a disclosed mathematical formula, not AI or an automated eligibility decision.
Technical information: hosting, access-control, security, and form-delivery services may receive your IP address, browser or device details, request time, requested URL, and related connection or error logs. When you follow a link, its URL may include a borough or campaign parameter. The site uses a borough parameter to preselect your form answer; it does not store advertising click identifiers or run campaign attribution in this version.
Privacy preferences: this browser stores your category choices, the notice version and provider configuration, the action selected, timestamps, and whether Global Privacy Control was detected when saving. The record contains no name, contact details, injury description, or advertising identifier. It is not sent to us as a central consent log.
2. Purposes and recipients
We use inquiries to respond, understand your request, facilitate a possible attorney connection, maintain relevant correspondence, and address privacy or service requests. Technical information supports delivery, security, abuse prevention, and troubleshooting.
- Independent attorneys: when you agree and submit an inquiry, its contents may be shared with an independent attorney for an initial review. They may contact you and apply their own privacy practices to their records. A connection, representation, or outcome is not guaranteed.
- Form and email providers: FormSubmit receives the submitted form and forwards it to contact@fallclaimlawyers.com. Our email services process delivery and correspondence. Submitting a form involves processing beyond this website even if optional cookies are rejected.
- Hosting and access services: Sites hosting and its infrastructure providers process requests to serve and protect this website. Access-controlled previews may require a platform sign-in governed by the platform’s own privacy notice.
- Other permitted disclosures: information may be disclosed when necessary to comply with a lawful request, protect people or the service, investigate abuse, or support a business transfer, subject to applicable protections and notice requirements.
Read FormSubmit’s privacy notice and documentation for its processing practices. We do not intentionally pass inquiry fields, injury information, names, phone numbers, or email addresses to advertising or analytics platforms. This version has no automated audience uploads, enhanced conversions, or server-side advertising conversion API.
3. Cookies, local storage, and pixels
Cookies are small browser files. Local storage keeps information on your device without automatically attaching it to each network request. Pixels and tracking scripts can send information to a provider when a page loads or an action occurs, sometimes without setting a cookie. Our optional-tracking controls cover the configured services that use these technologies, not just cookie files.
Current use: the site stores fcl_privacy_choices in local storage to remember your decision for 180 days. No Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Google Ads, Meta Pixel, or other optional tracking provider is currently installed. No optional tracking request is made simply because the banner appears or because you reject optional categories. Fonts and website photographs are served with the site.
Your controls: choose Reject Optional, Accept All, or Customize. Analytics and Advertising & pixels are off by default. You can reopen to change or withdraw your choice. Continuing to browse, closing the settings panel, or using the case-review form does not count as cookie consent. Rejecting optional categories does not block the form.
Your decision applies to this browser and site origin. We ask again after 180 days, when browser storage is cleared, or when the notice version or configured optional providers change. Allowing an empty category today does not authorize a new provider later. If browser storage is unavailable, choices apply in memory for the current visit and may be requested again.
Global Privacy Control (GPC): when your browser exposes a GPC signal, this site keeps advertising permission off, including when an older saved choice allowed it. Accept All does not override GPC. Other browser Do Not Track settings do not have a separate implementation here; use Cookie Settings to reject optional tracking. These controls do not undo information already submitted or replace a separate request about your inquiry records.
Sale, sharing, and targeted advertising: this website currently has no pixel-based sale or sharing for cross-context behavioral advertising. An inquiry may still be provided to an attorney as described above. If you want to restrict further sharing of an inquiry, contact us; a cookie choice alone does not recall information already provided to an attorney. Where applicable law grants a right to opt out of sale, sharing, or targeted advertising, you may exercise it through Cookie Settings and by contacting us about other processing.
See the Cookie Policy for the current storage inventory, categories, and provider details. New tracking providers require updated disclosures and a fresh choice before activation.
4. Retention and security
Privacy preferences expire after 180 days. Unsaved form entries remain in the page’s working memory and are not stored by the site in local storage; browser autofill is controlled by your browser. Submitted inquiries may remain in email and related service records while needed to respond, manage the connection, resolve a dispute, or meet applicable obligations. Retention depends on the record and purpose rather than a single period for all information.
FormSubmit’s documentation describes a 30-day submission archive; that does not establish a 30-day deletion schedule for our email inbox or an attorney’s records. Providers and independent attorneys may retain their own operational records under their policies. You may request deletion, subject to verification and any lawful retention requirement.
The hosted site uses HTTPS. Online forms and email are not guaranteed completely secure or covered by attorney-client privilege. Access to inquiry information should be limited to people handling the request and service operations. Please use the contact email to report a suspected privacy issue.
5. Your choices and privacy rights
You may browse without submitting personal information, reject optional cookies, or ask this service to stop further inquiry-related contact. The form does not enroll you in an automated promotional text-message campaign. Withdrawing cookie consent does not cancel a submitted case-review request; contact us if you want to withdraw that request.
Depending on where you live and which laws apply, you may have rights to access, obtain a copy of, correct, delete, or restrict use of your information; withdraw consent; object to processing; opt out of sale, sharing, targeted advertising, or certain profiling; appeal a denied request; or complain to a regulator. We do not use this website to make automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects.
Email your request to contact@fallclaimlawyers.com with “Privacy request” in the subject. Tell us the request and the email or phone number used for your inquiry. We may ask for proportionate information to verify your identity or an authorized agent’s authority. Do not email identity documents unless a secure verification method has been arranged. We will respond as required by applicable law and explain a denial and any applicable appeal route. To appeal, reply with “Privacy appeal.” Exercising a privacy right will not affect your ability to request a free case review.
6. International visitors
This service is directed to adults seeking legal help concerning New York City. Information may be processed in the United States and locations where service providers operate. Privacy protections can differ by country. Where EEA or UK data-protection law applies, processing must have an applicable legal basis: responding to a request or taking requested pre-contract steps, legitimate interests in secure service operation, legal obligations, or consent where required, including for optional tracking and sensitive data. For information about the locations, providers, and safeguards relevant to your inquiry, contact us before sending sensitive records. You may also complain to your local supervisory authority.
7. Children, external links, and updates
This website is intended for adults aged 18 or older. A parent or guardian should make an inquiry concerning a minor. If you believe a child provided information without appropriate authorization, contact us. External websites and independent attorneys have their own privacy practices; our cookie controls cannot control storage on their sites.
We update this notice when our practices change and revise the effective date. Material changes will be identified on the site as appropriate. Changes to optional tracking require a new choice; an updated policy alone is not consent.
